
Lately I have specifically been working on Super Mario 2020 / Super Mario 256. I can tell there is a massive update coming that will feature the following stuff:
- All levels in Peach castle.
- More special effects.
- Audio effects such as 'echo' and 'reverb'.
- New enemies and challenges.
- Stars and Shinesprites with specific colors.
- The trajectory of the normal F.L.U.D.D. nozzle has changed.
- A Toad that will help Mario by displaying certain dialog on the screen at some moments.
- The first level will have some changes in its design.
- Mario has new animations! Dieing animation, attack animation (Fire & snow projectile)
And ofcourse a huge amount of bug fixes!
More stuff is about to come. Once the next version is released, the changes can be found in the 'changelog.txt' file.
I will also be changing to Gamemaker Studio as the new 2D Game Engine.
The following games will still be developed and finished in the current 2D Game Engine (GameMaker 8.1):
- Super Mario 256.
- Rocterdorcick.
- Peach Castle Defense.
- Mario and the gray coins (currently paused, and needs to be ported from Gamemaker 8 to 8.1)
- The Lost Man?
- Two unreleased games that yet have to be released.
